JANE CONNETT / STUDIO ARTIST
Jane Connett likes to do a variety of small intricate weavings and shows her expertise in many artistic endeavors. Jane also does Ukrainian Easter Eggs, kumihimo, band weavings, and tapestry. She has a fantastic sense of color and loves to share her vast knowledge and passion for fiber arts with others.
JUDY LARSON / STUDIO ARTIST
Judy Larson weaves rugs, scarves, blankets, runners, and placemats on many different sizes and types of looms. Judy also teaches weaving classes and does weaving commissions to size and color. GLORIA ADRIAN / STUDIO ARTIST
Gloria Adrian is an oil painter, who began her career as artist after her children were grown. Born in 1948 in Minnesota, she earned a BFA degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1995 and further studied painting in Europe, Mexico and the US. She has lived most of her career in western Wisconsin where her canvases are humming with paintings of flora, birds and figures.
Drawing inspiration from the outdoors and nature, her goal is to offer viewers images that reflect the magic and spirit of one’s natural surroundings. Gloria has exhibited her artwork throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota in group and individual exhibitions. Her paintings are in many private collections and she has painted several murals in public spaces.

BARBARA BEND / STUDIO ARTIST
Barbara Riegel Bend is a Fiber Artist, who came to this medium through years of exploring multiple facets of the fiber arts after getting her BA in Applied Arts and her MS in education. She taught in the elementary and middle school classroom for many years at that same time learned about spinning, weaving, natural dying, quilting, felting and eventually welding. She has developed a unique technique of creating forms, people, and animals from the buried gems of cultural remnants, she transforms the inert object into a living idea and emotional connections.

NANCY GAVIN / STUDIO ARTIST
Nancy Gavin is a long time sewer, having learned to sew garments during her 4-H years. Currently her focus is the creation of traditional quilts. The colors and patterns of new fabrics are continually added to Nancy’s stash, however she is especially drawn to cast off fabrics to be sewn away. Old neckties, jeans, drapery samples, men shirting, batiks, and new printed cottons are used in Nancy’s quilts.
